For print shops
Small businesses design menus, flyers, cards, signs, labels and catalogs on Educated Designer, and many of them want a local shop to print them. Independent print shops can apply to receive their quote requests.
Where things stand: we're starting in the Inland Empire and nearby Southern California, and the network is new, so there may be few requests at first. Joining doesn't guarantee quote requests or print jobs. See the fees below.
No setup fee and no cost to apply. You can leave at any time.
Tell us what you print, your minimums and turnaround, your service area, pickup and delivery options, and add a few photos of your work.
We check every application before anything goes public. We may ask for changes, and we can't accept every shop.
Approved shops appear when people search by ZIP code and product, and we may pass on requests sent to our team.
See the job and the customer's artwork, then send your price and turnaround. Questions, payment and pickup or delivery are arranged through messages on Educated Designer.
You can save it as a draft and submit it for review when it's ready.
Independent print shops and commercial printers serving small businesses, schools, restaurants, retailers, community groups and local service providers.
Separately, any partner can refer customers to Educated Designer and earn 20% of their payments for the first months. See the referral program.
Yes. Your application is your shop profile, and the account is where you'll see quote requests and send prices. Creating the account doesn't publish anything: your profile stays private until our team approves it.
We can't promise any. The network is just starting, so requests may be few at first, and a request can go to more than one shop. Approved shops appear in search for the ZIP codes they serve and the products they list.
No, not even after they accept your quote. Customer contact details stay private. You see the job, the quantity, the ZIP code, the deadline, any artwork they attached and the customer's first name, and you talk to the customer in the request's conversation on Educated Designer. We email you when there's a new request or message.
Only the Educated Designer team. The same goes for your equipment, typical orders and minimums: they help us review your shop and match requests, and aren't shown on your public profile.
In this phase the customer pays the shop directly; Educated Designer doesn't process payments for local shop jobs.
