How bakeries use this gift certificate

Sell them at the counter or online, give them as prizes for local raffles, or use them to say sorry. Each certificate is a promise, so record what you sell. Worth including: baked fresh each morning.

Give custom orders their own line with the lead time (for example 48 hours' notice) so customers ask early. Check your state's rules on gift certificate expiry before adding an expiry date.

What to put on it

  • Amount or service
  • Recipient and sender names
  • A certificate number
  • Expiry date and terms, if any

Sizes and paper
