How BBQ joints and smokehouses use this placemat

Put them under plates or trays. Guests have a few minutes while waiting, so this is a good place for a story, a puzzle for children or upcoming events. Worth including: how many hours you smoke the brisket.

Sell meats by weight and by plate side by side, and say what happens when something sells out. Leave the centre of the mat fairly plain; that's where the plate goes.

What to put on it

  • Your logo and a short welcome
  • A family pack with two meats and sides
  • Something for children to do, if you serve families
  • Website, social handles or a QR code

Sizes and paper

This template comes in one size: Placemat 17 × 11 in. Paper placemats are usually printed in bulk on uncoated paper; keep important text away from where plates sit.
