Retail & boutique about & offer placemat template

Placemats turn every table into advertising: boutiques and independent shops use them to show a percentage off for newsletter sign-ups, a kids' activity or local sponsors. Edit it free online, then download or print it.

How boutiques and independent shops use this placemat

Put them under plates or trays. Guests have a few minutes while waiting, so this is a good place for a story, a puzzle for children or upcoming events. Worth including: local makers or brands you carry.

Tie each promotion to a date range so it creates a reason to visit this week. Leave the centre of the mat fairly plain; that's where the plate goes.

What to put on it

  • Your logo and a short welcome
  • A percentage off for newsletter sign-ups
  • Something for children to do, if you serve families
  • Website, social handles or a QR code

Sizes and paper

This template comes in one size: Placemat 17 × 11 in. Paper placemats are usually printed in bulk on uncoated paper; keep important text away from where plates sit.
