How daycares and preschools use this gift certificate

Sell them at the counter or online, give them as prizes for local raffles, or use them to say sorry. Each certificate is a promise, so record what you sell. Worth including: your licence, staff ratios and safety practices.

Parents look for hours, ages served and how to book a tour; put those first. Check your state's rules on gift certificate expiry before adding an expiry date.

What to put on it

  • Amount or service
  • Recipient and sender names
  • A certificate number
  • Expiry date and terms, if any
