Using this gift certificate for Diwali

Sell them at the counter or online, give them as prizes for local raffles, or use them to say sorry. Each certificate is a promise, so record what you sell.

Print early: Diwali dates move each year, so check the date and give customers two to three weeks' notice of offers. Check your state's rules on gift certificate expiry before adding an expiry date.

What to put on it

  • Amount or service
  • Recipient and sender names
  • A certificate number
  • Expiry date and terms, if any

Sizes and paper

This template comes in one size: Gift certificate (8 × 3.5 in). Card stock gives a gift-like feel. Number each certificate and keep a simple log of numbers sold and redeemed.
