How computer science teachers use this class newsletter

Send it home weekly or monthly, on paper or as a PDF in your class app. A short, regular newsletter gets read more than a long one now and then. Computer science teachers working on algorithms, debugging and projects can change every word to match the unit.

Use a monospace font for code so spacing and indentation stay clear. Keep the same layout each time so families know where to look.

What to put on it

  • What we're learning
  • Dates to remember
  • How families can help at home
  • Your contact details

Sizes and printing

This template comes in one size: Class newsletter (8.5 × 11 in). Copy paper is fine; send a PDF too for families who prefer digital.
