How elementary English teachers use this bookmark

Give them out with a new book, as a reward, or as a reading-strategy reminder. A bookmark that lives inside the book reminds students of the strategy at the moment they need it. Elementary English teachers working on phonics, spelling, reading comprehension and writing can change every word to match the unit.

Pair each reading task with a quick written response to check understanding. Laminate them if they'll be used all year.

What to put on it

  • A title or reading tip
  • Space for the student's name
  • A design on the back

Sizes and printing

This template comes in one size: Bookmark (Front and back). Card stock, several to a sheet, cut along the guides.
