How kindergarten teachers use this bookmark

Give them out with a new book, as a reward, or as a reading-strategy reminder. A bookmark that lives inside the book reminds students of the strategy at the moment they need it. Kindergarten teachers working on letter sounds, sight words, counting and routines can change every word to match the unit.

Keep one task per page and leave big spaces for writing. Laminate them if they'll be used all year.

What to put on it

  • A title or reading tip
  • Space for the student's name
  • A design on the back

Sizes and printing

This template comes in one size: Bookmark (Front and back). Card stock, several to a sheet, cut along the guides.
