Kindergarten two-page newsletter template

A class newsletter keeps families in the loop: kindergarten teachers share what five- and six-year-olds are learning and what's coming up. Edit every word online for free, then print or download.

How kindergarten teachers use this class newsletter

Send it home weekly or monthly, on paper or as a PDF in your class app. A short, regular newsletter gets read more than a long one now and then. Kindergarten teachers working on letter sounds, sight words, counting and routines can change every word to match the unit.

Keep one task per page and leave big spaces for writing. Keep the same layout each time so families know where to look.

What to put on it

  • What we're learning
  • Dates to remember
  • How families can help at home
  • Your contact details

Sizes and printing

This template comes in one size: Class newsletter (8.5 × 11 in). Copy paper is fine; send a PDF too for families who prefer digital.
