How preschool and pre-K teachers use this classroom poster

Hang it at eye level where students look during work time, and refer to it while teaching so it becomes part of the routine. Preschool and pre-K teachers working on letters, colours, shapes and routines can change every word to match the unit.

Use pictures alongside every word; most children can't read yet. Fewer words on the wall are more likely to be read.

What to put on it

  • A short title
  • Three to six key points
  • A picture or icon for each point
  • Large type readable from the back of the room

Sizes and printing

This template comes in 2 sizes, including Classroom poster (18 × 24 in) and Classroom poster 11 × 17. Print large on a poster printer, or on letter or A4 and laminate it so it lasts the year.
