How event planners use this sign

Use signs for opening hours, directions, offers and rules. A sign is read from a distance, often while walking, so it needs very few words in very large type. Worth including: events you've planned.

Make a small style sheet (two colours, two fonts) and use it for every printed piece of an event. Test it: step back the distance people will read it from and check the main line is still clear.
