How Indian and South Asian grocery stores use this placemat

Put them under plates or trays. Guests have a few minutes while waiting, so this is a good place for a story, a puzzle for children or upcoming events. Worth including: brands your customers know.

Show prices per pack size (for example 10 lb and 20 lb) and keep sale prices in one bright colour. Leave the centre of the mat fairly plain; that's where the plate goes.

What to put on it

  • Your logo and a short welcome
  • A weekly deal on rice or atta
  • Something for children to do, if you serve families
  • Website, social handles or a QR code

Sizes and paper

This template comes in one size: Placemat 17 × 11 in. Paper placemats are usually printed in bulk on uncoated paper; keep important text away from where plates sit.
