A TV screen by the counter or in the waiting area keeps families who shop weekly informed without a word: Indian and South Asian grocery stores use it for a weekly deal on rice or atta, welcomes and news. Edit it free online, then download it or show it on screen.

How Indian and South Asian grocery stores use this TV screen

Pair any smart TV by opening educateddesigner.com/tv and entering the code. Rotate a few designs in a playlist and edit them from your phone. Worth including: brands your customers know.

Show prices per pack size (for example 10 lb and 20 lb) and keep sale prices in one bright colour. Change the screen regularly; people stop noticing a slide that never changes.

What to put on it

  • A weekly deal on rice or atta
  • A big headline readable from across the room
  • A QR code for anything people should do
  • Your logo, small
