How Indian and South Asian grocery stores use this sign

Use signs for opening hours, directions, offers and rules. A sign is read from a distance, often while walking, so it needs very few words in very large type. Worth including: brands your customers know.

Show prices per pack size (for example 10 lb and 20 lb) and keep sale prices in one bright colour. Test it: step back the distance people will read it from and check the main line is still clear.

What to put on it

  • A headline that can be read from across the room
  • A weekly deal on rice or atta
  • An arrow, date or time if it helps
  • Your logo, small
