How photographers and creative studios use this sign

Use signs for opening hours, directions, offers and rules. A sign is read from a distance, often while walking, so it needs very few words in very large type. Worth including: your portfolio.

Let one of your own photos fill most of the design; it's your portfolio in miniature. Test it: step back the distance people will read it from and check the main line is still clear.

What to put on it

  • A headline that can be read from across the room
  • A mini-session day
  • An arrow, date or time if it helps
  • Your logo, small
