Real estate open hours sign rider template

A sign rider adds the details to a yard sign: real estate agents and brokers use them for 'open house', 'just listed' or a phone number. Edit it free online, then download or print it.

How real estate agents and brokers use this sign rider

Riders hang below or above the main sign on the same frame. They're read from a passing car, so a few words only. Worth including: your brokerage name and recent sales.

Put one strong photo first; buyers decide whether to read on from the picture. Check the rider width matches your sign frame before ordering. Add your license number and brokerage if your state requires them, and the Equal Housing logo if your brokerage uses it.

What to put on it

  • Two to four words
  • Phone number or website, if that's the rider's job
  • High-contrast colours

Sizes and paper

This template comes in 2 sizes, including Sign rider 24 × 6 in and Sign rider 18 × 6 in. Usually printed on corrugated plastic or aluminium to match the main sign.
