How churches and community groups use this sign

Use signs for opening hours, directions, offers and rules. A sign is read from a distance, often while walking, so it needs very few words in very large type. Worth including: your welcome message and service times.

Put the date, time and address in the same spot on every piece so people find them quickly. Test it: step back the distance people will read it from and check the main line is still clear.

What to put on it

  • A headline that can be read from across the room
  • An open invitation to a service or event
  • An arrow, date or time if it helps
  • Your logo, small

Sizes and paper
