How nonprofits and charities use this sign

Use signs for opening hours, directions, offers and rules. A sign is read from a distance, often while walking, so it needs very few words in very large type. Worth including: what each donation achieves.

Show one specific outcome (for example meals served) rather than general statements. Test it: step back the distance people will read it from and check the main line is still clear.
