Questions

Are the illustrations really free?

Yes. You can use them in anything you make, for yourself or for clients, including products and designs you sell. No account and no attribution needed.

What can't I do with them?

Please don't sell or share the illustrations on their own as an illustration pack or clip-art collection, or claim you drew them. Using them inside your own designs is fine.

Who made them?

They are drawn by Educated Designer as code: every illustration is built from simple vector shapes by our own generators, so we know exactly where each one comes from. None are traced from other artists or made with an AI image model.

Why do some look alike?

Many drawings come in several versions: several styles (flat, line, hand-drawn, 3D-ish and grainy gradient), six skin tones for people, and curated colour palettes for the studio spot art, backgrounds and patterns. There are 400+ different drawings and 1,900+ versions in all.

Can I change the colours?

Yes. Pick new colours before downloading, or add an illustration to a design and change its two main colours there. In the editor you can switch it to your brand colours in one click.

Which file should I download?

SVG stays sharp at any size and opens in most design apps. PNG is a 2000-pixel picture that works everywhere, with a see-through background.
