- Transfer paper for light fabric is usually printed mirrored (flipped) and pressed face down; paper for dark fabric usually isn't. Follow the instructions on your pack, and use an inkjet printer unless the pack says laser.

Print it lined up
The test page draws only the outline of every label and a ruler. Print it on plain paper, hold it against your sheet in front of a window, and save a nudge for your printer if the outlines sit off the labels.
Print at Actual size (100%), not "Fit to page". Use plain paper first, then hold it against your label sheet in front of a window.

Where these numbers come from
- ANSI: US paper sizes: Letter 8.5 × 11 in, Legal 8.5 × 14 in (ANSI/ASME Y14.1 Letter = ANSI A). Paper sizes. Layouts citing it divide the sheet exactly.
