Free Background Changer with AI scenes

Put your product somewhere new: a colour, a simple studio, marble, wood or kitchen backdrop drawn on your device for free, or a realistic AI-made scene from a preset or your own description. The AI only makes the empty background — your real product from your photo is placed on top.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Colours, blur and the simple scenes are free and unlimited. AI scenes use AI credits. Downloads up to 1500 px need no account; full-resolution files need a free account. There's no watermark.

How much does the AI option cost?

Each AI photo uses 1 AI credit from your plan's monthly allowance (Free 20, Pro 300, Business 1500 a month), with a daily limit of 5 AI photos on Free, 60 on Pro and 200 on Business. The free options on this page don't use credits.

Does the AI change my product?

No. The AI is asked for an empty background only, and your product is the real cut-out from your photo, placed on top with a shadow. Lighting may not match perfectly, so pick a scene with light similar to your photo.

What is sent to the AI?

For AI scenes, only your scene choice or description is sent — not your photo. AI tools send this photo to our AI provider (Google Gemini, through Lovable AI) to make the result. We don't store it, and it isn't used to train AI models.

What can I describe?

Places and surfaces, such as "a sunny terrace table with olive trees behind". Descriptions can't ask for people, text, logos or brands.

Quick or HD cut-out?

Quick works in any current browser and is fine for most product photos. HD is much better on busy photos with several objects and on fine edges; it downloads a larger engine once (over 100 MB), needs a browser with WebGPU (a recent Chrome or Edge on a computer) and a free account. Both run on your device.

Can I use the result commercially?

Yes. What you make is yours to use. The open models we use (U²-Net, Apache 2.0; BiRefNet, MIT) allow commercial use. Make sure you have the rights to the photo you start with.
