Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Shadows are free and unlimited. Downloads up to 1500 px need no account; full-resolution files need a free account. There's no watermark.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. This tool runs in your browser: the cut-out engine is downloaded from our site and your photo stays on your device.

Are these AI shadows?

No. They're drawn from your product's outline with simple light maths, which is fast, free and predictable. They don't know the 3D shape of your product, so very complex shapes may need a softer setting.

Can I keep the shadow on a transparent background?

Yes. Choose Transparent and download a PNG: the shadow is saved as semi-transparent pixels.

Quick or HD cut-out?

Quick works in any current browser and is fine for most product photos. HD is much better on busy photos with several objects and on fine edges; it downloads a larger engine once (over 100 MB), needs a browser with WebGPU (a recent Chrome or Edge on a computer) and a free account. Both run on your device.

Can I use the result commercially?

Yes. What you make is yours to use. The open models we use (U²-Net, Apache 2.0; BiRefNet, MIT) allow commercial use. Make sure you have the rights to the photo you start with.
