How to print labels that line up

  1. 1. Pick your sheet

Search the number or size on the pack. Each sheet page shows the margins and spacing we use.

  2. 2. Design one, or many

Start from a template at the exact label size. For names and addresses, fill copies from a CSV or spreadsheet.

  3. 3. Print the test page

Print the outline-only page on plain paper, hold it against your sheet, and save a nudge if it's off.

  4. 4. Print at actual size

Download the PDF and print at Actual size / 100%, not Fit to page. Then print on your labels.

Measure your own sheet

Not listed? Put a ruler on your sheet and enter what you see. We draw it to scale, make a test page, and save it for your workspace so it shows up in the editor's Print several per page.

1 Paper and label shape

2 One label, and how many

3 Where the first label starts, and the gaps

Tip: measure across several labels and divide; it's more accurate than measuring one gap.

30 labels fit on the sheet.

Questions

Will these layouts line up with the label sheets I bought?
Each pre-cut layout uses the margins and spacing a sheet maker publishes for that sheet. Where we say a layout is the same size as a branded product, the brand's own page confirms the label size and count; some also have their positions checked against a second public source. Sheets still vary a little between makers and printers, so print the free alignment test page on plain paper first and hold it against your sheet.
Why does my print come out a little off?
Most often the print dialog shrank the page ("Fit to page"). Print at Actual size or 100%. If it is still off, measure how far the test outlines landed and save that as a printer nudge; every later sheet moves by that amount.
My sheet isn't listed. What can I do?
Use Measure your own sheet: enter the label size, how many across and down, the top and left margins and the gaps from a ruler. We draw it, make a test page, and save it for your workspace so it appears in the editor.
Can I print a different name on every label?
Yes. Put fields like {{Name}} in your design, then use Make many (or Print several per page → Fill from a list) with a CSV or spreadsheet. Your list stays in your browser.
