Every tool opens the same editor, so you can crop, then resize, then add text in one go. Files stay on your device.

How to use it

  1. Step 1

    Open your GIF

Drop a GIF on the page or pick one. It opens in your browser and is never uploaded.

  2. Step 2

    Set the size

Type a width or height, or pick 25%, 50%, 75%, 150% or 200%. The other side follows when the ratio is locked.

  3. Step 3

    Choose the scaling

Smooth for photos and video, Pixel for pixel art and sprites so edges stay sharp.

  4. Step 4

    Download

Make the file and compare the new size and frame count with the original, then save it to your device.

Questions

Is my GIF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and edited inside your browser tab, and the new file is made on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers, so it works for private or unreleased work.

Does resizing make the file smaller?

Usually a lot: half the width and height is about a quarter of the pixels. The page shows the old and new file size after you make the file.

Will my GIF lose its animation?

No. Every frame is resized and keeps its delay and the loop setting.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it's free and needs no account. Editing and converting your own GIFs adds nothing to them. Animations you build from photos or a video follow the GIF maker's rules: free files are up to 15 seconds with a small corner credit; Pro removes the credit and allows 60 seconds.

How big a GIF can I open?

Files up to 200 MB and animations up to 1,000 frames or 2,000 px on a side. Frames are held uncompressed in memory, so very long or large GIFs show a warning; resizing or dropping frames first makes everything faster.
