How to use it

  1. Step 1

    Open your GIF

Drop a GIF on the page or pick one. It opens in your browser and is never uploaded.

  2. Step 2

    Add the overlay

Pick your logo or picture. Transparent PNGs work best.

  3. Step 3

    Place it

Choose a corner or drag the position sliders, set the size and opacity, and the frames it shows on.

  4. Step 4

    Download

Make the file and compare the new size and frame count with the original, then save it to your device.

Questions

Is my GIF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and edited inside your browser tab, and the new file is made on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers, so it works for private or unreleased work.

Does the overlay animate?

The overlay is one still picture placed on the frames you choose. To put a moving GIF next to or after another, use the GIF combiner.

Will it look soft?

GIF has 256 colours per frame and on/off transparency, so soft shadows on a logo may look a little rough. Simple, solid logos look best.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it's free and needs no account. Editing and converting your own GIFs adds nothing to them. Animations you build from photos or a video follow the GIF maker's rules: free files are up to 15 seconds with a small corner credit; Pro removes the credit and allows 60 seconds.
