Free GIF Reverser
Play an animated GIF backwards, or forwards then backwards as a boomerang loop. Every frame keeps its own delay.

Every tool opens the same editor, so you can crop, then resize, then add text in one go. Files stay on your device.

It plays straight away; Undo puts it back.
- Step 4

Questions
Is my GIF uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened and edited inside your browser tab, and the new file is made on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers, so it works for private or unreleased work.
What's a boomerang GIF?
It plays forwards and then backwards so it loops smoothly. The two turning frames aren't repeated, so there's no stutter.
Will the file be bigger?
A reversed GIF is about the same size. A boomerang has nearly twice the frames, so expect up to twice the size.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it's free and needs no account. Editing and converting your own GIFs adds nothing to them. Animations you build from photos or a video follow the GIF maker's rules: free files are up to 15 seconds with a small corner credit; Pro removes the credit and allows 60 seconds.
