Questions

Is my GIF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and edited inside your browser tab, and the new file is made on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers, so it works for private or unreleased work.

Does rotating lose quality?

Quarter turns and flips move pixels exactly. Other angles resample the picture, which softens it slightly.

Why are the corners transparent?

Rotating by an odd angle leaves empty corners. Pick a corner colour if the GIF goes on a solid background.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it's free and needs no account. Editing and converting your own GIFs adds nothing to them. Animations you build from photos or a video follow the GIF maker's rules: free files are up to 15 seconds with a small corner credit; Pro removes the credit and allows 60 seconds.
